NAPSA Stars yesterday overcame Green Eagles to climb to eighth position on the Super Division log with interim coach Linos Makwaza saying the victory is a morale booster ahead of next Saturday’s Barclays Cup final against Zanaco.

“It was a tough game and we wasted a lot of chances. They gave us a tough time, especially in the second half, but what is important is that we have collected full points. The win is a motivation going into the Barclays Cup final,” Makwaza said.
Chitiya Mususu powered in a long-range thunderbolt in the second minute and, three minutes later, Collins Sikombe connected a cross from Austin Banda’s cross.
