NAPSA projects K50 billion fund growth

NATIONAL Pensions Scheme Authority (NAPSA) has projected to grow its fund to about K50 billion in 2021 from the current K24 billion driven by information technology and communication initiatives.
Currently, the authority has about 900,000 members with the majority in the formal sector and targets to reach out to more people in the informal sector.
NAPSA director general Yollard Kachinda cited initiatives such the electronic (e) NAPSA, which is a web-based eServices portal, through which employers can register their employees and file monthly returns.
Mr Kachinda said at the joint launch of the mobile money solution by NAPSA and MTN Zambia yesterday that all the funds will be injected into the country to help grow the economy.
