NAPSA disburses K1.8 billion to NRFA

THE National Pension Scheme Authority (NAPSA) has so far disbursed about K1.8 billion to National Road Fund Agency (NRFA) from the K2.12 billion loan signed last year.
NRFA public relations manager Alphonsius Hamachila said the public to public partnership investment will help fund the rehabilitation and upgrading of the 58 kilometre (km) Ndola-Kitwe dual carriageway, 52 km Kitwe-Chingola and the 168km Chingola-Solwezi Road.
The NRFA embarked on the rehabilitation and upgrading of the two roads because they are strategic in linking North Western Province to Copperbelt Province and other parts of the country.
NRFA is paying the loan to NAPSA at a 1.5 percent above the 10-year Government bond yield.
