‘Mwila departure setback’

NATIONAL team manager Chris Chibuye says striker Brian Mwila’s absence is a setback ahead of next Saturday’s 2018 Kenya

African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier against South Africa.
And Chipolopolo coach Wedson Nyirenda has summoned Zesco United forward Davy Daka and Green Eagles midfielder Mwila Phiri for Saturday’s international friendly against Ethiopia.
Mwila, who has scored five goals in six appearances for the national team, has signed a three-year contract with South African top side Platinum Stars.
“The departure of Brian Mwila is a serious setback to the team. He has been part of the team. We are going to find a replacement for him with other players that we have been working with,” Chibuye told journalists at Cool Breeze Lodge in Lusaka yesterday.
