MADALITSO Muthiya is disappointed he did not take advantage of the opportunities at his disposal to win the Zambia Sugar Open Golf Championship title.
Muthiya managed four-under-par 72 and pocketed R11,840 against winner Christofer Blomatrand’s R253,600 (K166, 000).
Apart from pocketing K166, 000, the Swede won himself a 25-year-old bottle of whiskey by Chivas Regal.
A total of R1.5 million was shared amongst the 69 golfers that made the cut.
Muthiya said the lessons learnt from the four-day championship will help him going forward.
