SOUTH Africa’s Jacques Blaauw appears to be enjoying himself at the Nchanga Golf Club course when he equalled the previous day’s seven under 65 to cruise to a seven-stroke lead at the Konkola Copper Mines Zambia Open Golf Championship.
And Madalitso Muthiya led 14 other locals out of the tournament after failing to make the cut with four – Patrick Mwendapole, Aaron Simfukwe Jr, Cosmas Mufaya and Dayne Moore surviving the chop.
Blaauw picked seven birdies for a 14 under 130 total while joint leader on day one Tyronne Ferreira slipped nine shots behind.
