HONE SIAME, Lusaka
PATRIOTIC Front (PF) member of the central committee and former Copperbelt minister Mwenya Musenge is happy with the cordial reception he was accorded by the disciplinary committee when he appeared for his alleged gross indiscipline.
Meanwhile, PF youths in Kitwe have demanded that Mr Musenge be removed from the central committee and expelled from the ruling party.
Mr Musenge said in an interview yesterday that the Dr Ngosa Simbyakula-chaired committee provided a favourable platform for him to answer the charges the ruling party has slapped on him.
The former Chimwemwe lawmaker said he is still a committed member of the ruling party and that it is his prayer that his matter will be resolved amicably.
“The reception was cordial. I have no regret of attending. The discussion were held in a very conducive atmosphere. It is my prayer that the matter will be resolved amicably,” Mr Musenge said.
