Mufumbwe voters peacefully flock to polling stations

THOUSANDS of people in Mufumbwe yesterday peacefully flocked to various polling stations to decide who will lead Zambia and represent them in the National Assembly and their wards.
At Kyamina polling station, where there are 3,671 registered voters, long queues had formed long before 05:30 hours.
At exactly 06:00 hours, presiding officer Matilda Namunji officially opened the polling station, which had five voting streams, the largest in the constituency.READ MORE
