MTN sets aside K300m for network upgrade

TRYNESS TEMBO, Lusaka
MTN Zambia has set aside K315 million to upgrade its network and information technology this year.
The company has initially invested K180 million in network upgrade across the country under an initiative called project summer.
Chief executive officer Bart Hofker said the project is expected to boost network capacity and to enable high speed data services on 337 countrywide third generation (3G) and fourth generation (4G) network sites.
