GOVERNMENT has started building a mini medicine storage facility in Mpika district at a cost of US$1.5 million to improve efficiency in the supply of drugs to all health institutions in Muchinga Province.
Mpika district medical officer Jane Mwenda in an interview yesterday said that the facility will be supplying medicines to all the districts in the province.
“This is one of the strategies Government has put in place to bring medicines closer to hospitals and clinics,” she said.
