TEN days after dispatching Mbabane Swallows, Zesco United today must deliver yet another masterpiece against Etoile du Sahel at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium to have a realistic chance of qualifying for the quarter-finals of the CAF Champions League.
The Tunisians top Group D with 11 points, five clear of Angolan side Primeiro Agosto while Zesco are third with five points, one better than Mbabane Swallows of eSwatini.
Etoile have already secured qualification to the last eight and will be playing for pride.
The permutations are that a win for Zesco and victory for Swallows over Agosto will send the Ndola outfit to the quarter-finals.
“It is a tight situation but we have to do our homework and leave the rest to God. It has been a tough run on our part. It hasn’t been easy in that we have to play more games back home and play CAF games. Sometimes it is difficult even to prepare, the only preparation is to give the boys rest because they are human http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
