More condemn South violence

SENIOR Chief Sikufele of the Mbunda people of Manyinga district in North-Western Province has called for an end to post-election violence in some parts of the country.
Senior Chief Sikufele said he is saddened by reports of political violence in Southern, Western and some parts of North-Western provinces in the aftermath of the August 11 general elections which President Lungu won.
The traditional leader said in an interview yesterday that leadership comes from God and no one can ascend to power by use of violence.
“We want peace in the country, we don’t want violence, no. We have got children and we are growing, we have got so many things and want to see our country develop,” he said.READ MORE
