Mkushi man arrested for homosexuality

A MAN in his late 20s in Mkushi of Central Province has been arrested for allegedly practising homosexuality.
His alleged partner is reported to have fled when someone tipped the police about the two men having sex.

Central Province police commissioner Joe Njase and Mkushi District Commissioner Luke Mwamba both confirmed in separate interviews yesterday.

Mr Njase said he wants the police in Mkushi to do thorough investigations into the matter because of the manner the report was made to the police.
“They did pick those people for unlawful carnal knowledge against the order of nature but there is need for a medical report to prove if it is true,” Mr Njase said.
