GOVERNMENT has withdrawn the motor vehicle replacement allowance for Cabinet and provincial ministers effective next month in line with the ongoing austerity measures.
Secretary to the Cabinet Roland Msiska said in a statement issued yesterday that eligible offices will revert to their previous conditions of service.
“The withdrawal was done by letters dated 13 and 14 November, 2018,” Dr Msiska said.
On June 15 this year, Cabinet issued circular 12 of 2018 to revise the conditions of service for Cabinet and provincial ministers to, among others, abolish the provision of personal-to-holder motor vehicles.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
