IT’S about time that massive investments in mining began to stimulate growth in other sectors, President Edgar Lungu has said.He is concerned that the over US$13 billion investment in the mining sector over the last 18 years has not translated into growth of other sectors.
The head of State said despite the positive outlook of the sector, it has not stimulated corresponding growth with other sectors.
He said this is because mining has been taken as a mere source of revenue for Government and not as a catalyst for economic growth.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
