PRESIDENT Edgar Lungu says the Patriotic Front (PF) central committee will meet to evaluate the performance of Members of Parliament to establish whether they are delivering service to the people.
“To the MPs who are not performing, I will give you a yellow card if you do not pull up your socks,” Mr Lungu said when he addressed a crowd that welcomed him at the Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe International Airport yesterday.
President Lungu said parliamentarians will be required to submit reports of activities halfway through their five-year term of office.
He said as the MPs receive their mid-term gratuity of service when Parliament adjourns next month, the lawmakers will also be required to submit reports of works carried out in the two and half years to determine if they deserve a second chance.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
