RB to host Mswati
By KASUBA MULENGAPRESIDENT Banda is this weekend expected to host King Mswati of Swaziland who is scheduled to arrive in the country today for a three-day State visit.
Mr Banda and First Lady Thandiwe are expected to host a State banquet in honour of the visiting King in Lusaka this evening.
This is contained in a statement issued in Lusaka yesterday by special assistant to the President for press and public relations, Dickson Jere.
“On Saturday, the two heads of state will leave for Solwezi where they will visit Kansanshi Copper Mine,” he said.
Mr Jere said President Banda and King Mswati will later leave Solwezi for Mfuwe where they will hold bilateral talks at Chichele Lodge.
King Mswati is scheduled to leave Zambia for Swaziland on Monday morning.
