PRESIDENT Lungu will intervene in the pricing of mealie-meal in the next few days to make the staple food affordable if the situation does not improve, State House has announced.
Special assistant to the President for press and public relations Amos Chanda said yesterday that President Lungu has noticed with concern the continued high prices of mealie-meal.
Mr Chanda said the President would be forced to intervene in the next few days if the market did not behave normally.
