‘Mazda’ picks 24 for Chipolopolo clash

SUDAN national soccer team coach Mohamed ‘Mazda’ Abdallah has picked 24 players for Sunday’s international friendly against Zambia.
The Sudanese started preparations in Khartoum on Monday.
According to the list obtained from the Sudanese Football Association, the team is expected in Lusaka tomorrow.
The match is slated for National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka.
Both teams are preparing for the 2015 Morocco Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Zambia will host Mozambique in a Group F tie on September 6 while Sudan will be at home against South Africa in a Group A match.
Zambia and Sudan battled to a 1-1 draw in the 2014 World Cup qualifier at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola on June 15 last year.
Meanwhile, the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has engaged Democratic Republic of Congo side TP Mazembe over the availability three Chipolopolo players for the match against Sudan.
National team coach Honour Janza said in Lusaka yesterday that he wants midfielder Rainford Kalaba, striker Given Singuluma and defender Kabaso Chongo to be in the line-up at National Heroes Stadium.
Janza said TP Mazembe will not be in action this weekend.
And team manager Lusekelo Kamwambi said communication has already been sent to TP Mazembe and are waiting for a response.
