WITH reference to news on front page of the Zambia Daily Mail on July 13 of Zesco cables vandals being caught, I seek to implore the authorities to
exercise maximum punishment for the perpetrators of vandalism.
Such behaviour is slowing development of our nation. Instead of government investing resources in a new hospital for example, it will delay that to repair vandalised equipment hence slowing development to other areas in dire need.
On the other hand if the vandals were sent by someone, may they be punished till they reveal whoever sent them to destroy, so that even the engineers of vandalism are apprehended.
