Man, 41, cleared on drug charges

THE Livingstone Magistrate’s Court has acquitted a 41-year-old Vietnamese technician of being in possession of 30 capsules of codeine, a narcotic substance.
This is in a case Ta Dao Quynh of Vietnam was charged with being in possession of narcotic substances.
On May 27 this year, in Livingstone, Quynh had in his possession controlled narcotics at Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula international airport when entering the country.
Quynh produced a document written in Vietnamese indicating the drugs were purchased through the counter.
