Madison General Insurance Company has launched an interactive electronic online portal called the Mgen broker link aimed at improving customer service delivery
In a speech delivered at the launch yesterday, Madison General Insurance managing director Chabala Lumbwe said the portal will improve efficiency for its customers.
“In our quest to ensure that we serve our customers better, we are launching the MGen Broker Link today. This is an interactive electronic tool tailored to bridge the gap between us and our customers by employing a computerised online system,” he said.
Mr Lumbwe said the use of the portal will enable customers have easy access to products offered by the company.
“Our values of customer first, excellence and innovation are deeply embedded in our service culture and makes us unique in the way we do business,” he said.
Mr  Lumbwe  said innovation remains key for the company  and  that it will be optimising on the  use of  e-commerce, re-packaging of  existing products  and  introducing  new ones.
“This is all in an effort to respond to the changing needs of our customers. In the next few days, we will be engaging each one of you as we roll out the new system broker link,” he said.
Mr Lumbwe said competition in the Zambian general insurance sector has intensified considerably and is driven by numerous new entrants and exacerbated by the limited growth of the sector.
“As a mature and competitive market participant, Madison General has been able to deliver consistent profitable results whilst maintaining market share, and most importantly, our share of market profitability,” he said.
