THE Lusaka Water and Sewerage Company (LWSC) will spend K120 million to improve water and sanitation in three townships, director Jonathan Kampata has said.
The project, which is expected to be carried out in Bauleni, Kanyama and Chipata townships, is expected to take seven months.
“We are confident that the seven months project will improve water and sanitation in the three townships of Lusaka,” he said.
Speaking during a strategic urban planning workshop for high level stakeholders yesterday, engineer Kampata said improving water and sanitation is one of the interventions the LWSC will soon embark on.
