Lwandamina picks 17 for Juba clash

MULWANDA LUPIYA, Ndola
ZESCO United skipper Jacob Banda and his deputy Jackson Mwanza are among 17 players coach George Lwandamina has selected for Friday’s CAF Champions League preliminary round return leg against Al Ghazala Wau.
Banda and Mwanza missed the first leg that Zesco won 2-0 at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola on February 14 due to suspension and injury respectively.
Club media and public relations officer Katebe Chengo released the list in a statement issued in Ndola yesterday.
Lwandamina has kept faith in the players that beat the South Sudanese outfit in the first leg.
Striker Idris Mbombo and midfielder Cletus Chama, who contributed a goal apiece in the first leg, have made the  team.
Zesco are expected to leave for Juba today and will be accompanied by club chairman Dennis Banda and player status committee chairman Charles Kalala.

Goalkeepers: Jacob Banda, Lameck Nyangu
Defenders: Dauti Musekwa, Ayo Oluwafemi, Ben Adama Banh, David Odhiambo, Bernard Mapili.
Midfielders: Anthony Agay Akumu, Cletus Chama, Misheck Chaila, Maybin Mwaba, Mwape Mwelwa, John Ching’andu
Strikers: Idris Mbombo, Lazarous Kambole, Jesse Jackson Were and Jackson Mwanza.
