THERE must be something amiss at Lusaka Water and Sewerage Company (LWSC). Recently, the company embarked on a project
of installing pre-paid meters, replacing the post-paid meters, and consumers hailed the move because it makes a lot of economic sense. However, LWSC has secretly reverted to post-paid meters.
It certainly does not make sense to move from pre to post-paid meters but whatever the case, I am not sure what has prompted this decision.
Can LWSC explain this decision?
