Lusaka Marathon contributes K230,000 to charity

LAFARGE Zambia has donated the K230,000 raised from this year’s Lusaka Marathon to charity.
And the cement-manufacturing company has unveiled a K1 million budget for the 2019 Lusaka Marathon set for April 27 under the theme ‘Cement Your Fitness’.
Among the five charitable organisations that have benefited are Chilanga Mother of Mercy Hospice, Cheshire Home Kabulonga, Cheshire Home Chawama, Livingstone General Hospital and Arthur Davison Children’s Hospital in Ndola.
Each organisation has been given K42,000.
