PRESIDENT Edgar Lungu has urged Zambia Army to keep working hard to maintain the country’s foreign policy of promoting global peace.
President Lungu says Zambia has continued to earn respect from the global community for its contribution in maintaining peace.
“Internationally, our emissaries to the Southern African Development Community, African Union and United Nations peace-keeping operations performed beyond expectation and this has earned Zambia respect from the international community,” he said.
President Lungu said this in a speech read on his behalf by Minister of Defence Davies Chama at the Zambia Army officers’ annual ball at Arakan Barracks on New Year’s eve.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
