PRESIDENT Lungu says he has a clean bill of health and is confident of winning the August 11 general elections in the first round.
The President yesterday cleared the air on speculation that he is unwell dismissing the rumour as propaganda activities of the opposition political parties.
Speaking yesterday when he made an impromptu visit to Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation (ZNBC) mass media studios, where he was also accorded a special interview dubbed ‘A moment with the President’ for about 20 minutes, Mr Lungu said : “I am very well and enjoying the best and sound health, I don’t know where that [rumour] is coming from,” said President Lungu, who was jovial and in high spirits, in response to ZNBC presenter Franklin Tembo junior’s question about his reportedly ill health.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm
