PRESIDENT Edgar Lungu is waiting for the outcome of investigations into the death of a University of Zambia (UNZA) student because he wants to know what exactly happened.
And Government yesterday evacuated the injured UNZA student to South Africa for specialised spinal treatment.
The President told journalists at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport yesterday that police should be given time to do their job.
“Let the police do their job. Madam Dora Siliya gave a statement, that is Government’s position. We want to know what happened and we are waiting for the outcome of investigations. We don’t want to speculate,” he said.
