WASTE management is an industry which can create jobs and other business opportunities if fully explored through innovation, President Edgar Lungu has said.
President Lungu has since encouraged Zambians to explore ventures in managing garbage because it generates wealth.
Speaking to journalists after touring Chunga Dumpsite yesterday, the President said the management of waste in Zambia should be harnessed.
“We need to add value to trash. At State House, we have a beautiful bench which was made by some small-scale [business] in the waste management industry.
