Lumwana issues 10 commandments to visiting teams

Ndola, Lusaka
WHILE the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) is expected to meet today to decide the fate of the Super Division and National Division One, Barrick Lumwana Mine has released 10 coronavirus commandments which all teams visiting Lumwana Radiants must obey or risk not fulfilling fixtures against their team, Lumwana Radiants.
The North-Western Province-based side play their home matches at Lumwana Ground, which is located within the radius of the mine.
Unless FAZ halts the league today, Lumwana are expected to host Kabwe Warriors on Saturday while Nakambala Leopards, NAPSA Stars and Mufulira Wanderers will in that order visit the Patrick Phiri-drilled side before the season closes.
According to a circular of the commandments sent to all clubs by Zambia Premier League interim manager Brian Mulenga, the measures taken by Lumwana Mine are aimed at curbing the spread of the pandemic on the company premises.
“Please note that before a team can enter Lumwana mining site to play against Lumwana Radiants, the ten conditions will have to be met,” Mulenga said. CLICK TO READ MORE
