THE Luapula Provincial Chiefs Council (LPCC) will today hold a fundraising dinner in Mansa district aimed at raising money for development.
The function is dubbed ‘Meeting the Royal Highnesses of Luapula Province’.
Senior Chief Mwewa of Samfya district said in an interview yesterday that the money the dinner will raise is meant to uplift the dignity of traditional leaders in the province.
“This is intended to create a reliable financial resource base which our royal highnesses can fall upon to fund their activities and change the status quo of always depending on Government to fund their programmes,” Chief Mwewa said.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm
