Livingstone unveils HIV & AIDS plan

LIVINGSTONE has launched the HIV & AIDS investment plan to reduce the HIV prevalence in the tourism capital.
The city has the highest prevalence rate of HIV/AIDS in the country at 25.3 percent among the age group ranging from 15 to 19.
Launching the HIV & AIDS strategic plan that runs from 2014 to 2017 during the golden jubilee celebrations on Friday, deputy Minister of Tourism Lawrence Evans said the pandemic has raised serious ethical, cultural, religious, human rights and economic issues that cannot be addressed in isolation.
