‘Livestock farmers should be sensitised on disease control’

IN VIEW of the spread of Foot-and-Mouth Disease, the Zambia Livestock Cooperative Union Limited (ZALCUL) says there is need for continuous dissemination of information among livestock farmers to reduce the devastating economic effects.
Recently, Government banned the movement of livestock and sale of raw milk following the spread of the disease to Chilanga, Kabwe and Kapiri Mposhi districts.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
