GOVERNMENT will give incentives to athletes that will reap medals during the Confederation of African Athletics (CAA) Under-18and Under-20 Championship starting next week at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola. Minister of Youth, Sport and Arts Elvis Nkandu said in an interview yesterday that it is the Government’s policy to reward athletes that excel at international competitions. Nkandu said incentives are meant to motivate athletes to do their best and for them to earn a living. “Of course, those that will perform will be rewarded, that is our policy as Government.
