IT IS very sad to see our youths engaging in beer drinking in our communities and bar owners allow them with impunity.
The law is very clear but the sad part is that the councils are not doing enough to implement the law on under-age drinking.
Parents also have a role to play by avoiding sending children to buy beer in these drinking places.
Let us ensure our children are spending time reading books at home instead of sending them to purchase liquor for us.
I am appealing to the council to revoke trading licences for all bar owners who do not follow the law on under-age drinking.
