PRESIDENT Edgar Lungu has demanded that agreements signed under the Zambia-China twinning programme should not end with the signing ceremonies but should bear fruit.
He said this here yesterday when Zambia and China signed an agreement to twin Muchinga and Jiangxi provinces to promote investment and trade between the two regions and countries.
Speaking shortly before Muchinga Province Minister Malozo Sichone and acting Jiangxi Province Governor Yi Lianhong signed the agreement, Mr Lungu said the development has added value to existing cordial relations between Zambia and China.
This was during President Lungu’s meeting with Chinese Communist Party Jiangxi provincial committee secretary Liu Qi.
