Let’s prepare for eventualities

THE Bank of Zambia (BoZ) has bemoaned the inadequate preparation for retirement and death, which are putting pressure on household finances and has called on the public to prepare for such events through savings, investments and insurance.
During this year’s Financial Literacy Week, which runs from March 18 to 25 under the theme ‘Save, invest and insure to live a better life’, BoZ Governor Denny Kalyalya said some people are uncomfortable to retire for fear of not having an income due to failure to prepare for retirement.
