Let’s help DRC restore peace – Lungu

PRESIDENT Edgar Lungu says the Southern African Development Community (SADC) will continue promoting peace in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and the region as a whole.
Speaking as SADC chairperson of the organ on politics, defence and security, President Lungu said SADC has always been ready to work with the DRC government to restore peace in that country and the region.
Mr Lungu was speaking in Kampala, Uganda, yesterday when he addressed the Ninth High-Level Meeting of the Regional Oversight Committee for the Peace, Security and Cooperation Framework for the DRC and the Region http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
