Land secured for Legacy Project

MINISTER of Tourism Charles Banda yesterday told Parliament that land for the construction of the US$47,000 Legacy Project in Livingstone, Southern Province, has been secured.
Mr Banda said after the successful hosting of the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) General Assembly in 2013, the agency’s secretariat set aside US$47,500 to build the Legacy Project known as Livingstone Community Sustainable Tourism Resource Centre.
“Government, through Livingstone City Council, has allocated land for the development of the UNWTO/ST-EP Livingstone Community Sustainable Tourism Resource Centre,” he said.READ MORE
