THE Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) has fined Lafarge Cement Zambia K99.2 million for alleged over-pricing of its products.

But Lafarge Cement Zambia has disputed the fine and will appeal against it.
The K99,235,400 fine is 10 percent of the company’s annual turnover as of 2012, for alleged application of abusive loyalty discount schemes and price discrimination.
