KPF, champions Red Arrows clash

ARROWS

MULWANDA LUPIYA, Ndola
LEADERS Kitwe Playing Field and champions Red Arrows today clash in a National Rugby League Week Two match in the mining town.
‘Men at Work’ Diggers will seek bouncing back from last weekend’s 21-0 defeat to Arrows when they host Nkwazi.
KPF v ARROWS
KPF will look to build on last weekend’s 30-0 victory over Green Eagles when Arrows visit the Copperbelt.
The promoted side announced its comeback to the elite league in sensational fashion and outclassed Eagles.
Patson Kasonde, Kaluba Chilundami, Terry Kayumba, Fine Chinkumbi and Benaya Mukwamba hold the key for KPF’s success.
But this will be a different ball game and KPF should brace themselves for a tough match against reigning champions.
Coach Mwamba Chishimba has winners in Emmanuel Daka, Nigel Chibwe, Sydney Mwansapa and Terry Kaushiku.
The quartet was all on target against Diggers last Saturday.
KPF have five points, one ahead of Arrows.
DIGGERS v NKWAZI
Diggers will be seeking to put their season back on track after losing the opening fixture last week.
To redeem themselves the Kitwe side will bank on Brian Mbalwa and Dean
Zulu to triumph at Nkana West Rugby Field.
On the other side, the Zambia Police sponsored side buoyed by their 3-0 win over ‘Powerhouse’ Lusaka will aim to pick maximum points and will rely on David Chimbukulu and Leonard Malipenga to inflict more woes on the host.
Diggers have no point while Nkwazi are on four.
Elsewhere Green Buffaloes face Green Eagles while the match between Lusaka and Chibuluma has been postponed.
Lusaka have a bereavement following the death of former chairman Ngoshe Mwananshiku.
In Division Two, Mufulira welcome Prisons, Konkola face Ndola Wanderers while ‘Rampant Lions’ Nchanga entertain Kansanshi.
