Konkola Blades should be beefed up

Dear editor,
AS WE continue celebrating the bouncing back of 60-year-old Konkola Blades to the elite league, time to beef up the team is now, and the executive and technical bench should not side-line all dedicated players who sacrificed for the team in 2016.
Unless we lose one or two of regular players to other teams, the 1998 mosi cup kings just need about three or four quality players in defence, midfield and upfront.
We should not go to the super league just to visit like Blackpool, but to play to win and be the champions for the first time and represent Zambia in 2018.
To KCM, please increase funding to the Enos Silwimba-tutored team in 2017. We must motivate the players at all costs.
To die-hard supporters, like Keegan Simbaya, Friday Chalwe, Benjamin Mutale and Jeff Chipasha, continue giving that support to shape Konkola Blades Football Club.
