‘Koffi Olomide free to perform’

CONGOLESE rhumba maestro Koffi Olomide has not been banned from entering the country and is at liberty to perform in Zambia.
Lusaka lawyer Makebi Zulu said in a statement yesterday that Koffi is free to stage shows in Zambia.
Mr Zulu said Minister of National Guidance and Religious Affairs Godfridah Sumaili has not issued any statement concerning the alleged ban of the singer from entering the country.
“The Ministry of Tourism and Arts has issued a clearance certificate for our client to perform in Zambia,” he said.
