Dear editor,
I WANT to commend first president Dr Kenneth Kaunda for leading the country from 1964 to 1991 peacefully. It is for this reason that I wish to appeal to him to intervene in our political arena that has become fragile.
I always wonder what it wrong with us today. While we enjoy democracy with a number of political parties, we are seeing an escalation in cases of violence. The coming up of many parties has resulted into divisions among Zambians. Could Dr Kaunda intervene?
