TELEVISION presenter and producer-cum-musician Ken One has finally officially released his 14-track album titled Hold On, on which the overly talented Izrael features on five songs.
The album, which was released about a fortnight ago, also features the likes of JK, Danny Kaya, Slap D, Chef 187, Milz, Silentt Erazer, Jimmy Over Over, Chester and Damiano, among others.
One of the songs to look out for is Nilipo, the brand new and last single off the album, which features Izrael. The song has been receiving a lot of airplay across radio stations in the country.
The Hold On album was produced by leading producers who include Ben Blazer, T-Sean, Raydo, Skills, KB, Honarable, Nikacel, Jerry D, Silentt Erazer, and was mastered in South Africa by renowned producer Kelvin Cruise and co-mastered by Silentt Erazer.
“This is a must-get album by Ken One, as 60 percent of the songs from this album have already been out and have made great hits; songs like Bye-Bye, Hold On, Prayer, Vikakanga and Wilalila are some of the hit songs attached to this album,” reads a statement released by his publicist and made available to the Weekend Mail in Lusaka.
“Just this year, he dropped two international videos for Prayer featuring Milz & Silentt Erazer and Wilalila featuring Izrael and have been enjoying airplay not only on local channels but also international channels like Trace Africa.
“Eight months prior to the release of the album, Ken One has been performing in and out of the country to sample his album and the response has been overwhelming, especially in Namibia where he even got a record deal and has been signed under the Namibian label D Naff Entertainment.”
In the next two weeks, Ken One, a presenter and producer at the Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation, where he presents Rooftop and has seemingly managed to strike a balance on both his careers, will be releasing the video for Nilipo.
