KCM aids Rangers, Blades

KONKOLA Copper Mines (KCM) has given Nchanga Rangers, Konkola Blades and Nampundwe two months grants each to enable the teams pay salaries and allowances to players.
KCM manager – public relations and communications Shapi Shacinda said in Chingola yesterday that the mining firm will work round the clock to ensure they pay the remaining one month grant soon.
“We are making frantic efforts to clear the remaining one month grant to the three teams. The grants are for the day to day running of the clubs and for paying salaries and allowances to the players,” Shacinda said.
Rangers and Blades are in the Super Division while Nampundwe campaign in the first division.
