Kazungula to get 20 boreholes

THE Ministry of Local Government and Housing has awarded a contract to China Gansu Engineering and Exploration Limited to sink 20 boreholes in Kazungula district at a cost of K1,255,000.
Kazungula district council secretary Given Muleya thanked Government and UNICEF for sourcing funds and the efforts in ensuring that the people in the district, especially those in rural areas, have access to safe and clean drinking water.
Speaking in Kazungula during the awarding of contract to China Gansu on Wednesday, Mr Muleya said the drilling of 20 boreholes will start next week and will be completed within 11 weeks.READ MORE
