OVER 500 local people have been employed since 2016 when construction of the US$162 million Kazungula Bridge started.

And the construction of the Zambia–Botswana joint venture bridge is at 40 percent, complete, contractor Dae woo Engineering and Construction has said.
Speaking when Road Development Agency board chairperson Samuel Mukupa inspected construction works on Saturday, Dae woo assistant resident engineer Joseph Nyirenda said the bridge will ease the cost of doing business between Zambia and Botswana and the other 13 members of the Southern African Development Community (SADC).
