Kayonde causes upset, women win


INTERNATIONAL Master (IM) Andrew Kayonde yesterday caused an upset at the World Chess Olympiads in Baku when he defeated Grand Master (GM) Nikola Djukic of Montenegro.
But the men’s team tumbled 2.5-1.5 in round 10.
And the women’s team put up a spirited performance to wallop Netherlands Antilles.
Team leader Kayonde, who was on board one, took on GM Djukic with courage while the other Zambians fumbled.READ MORE
